There is one ingredient in this bar that no other soap maker has. Cascade volcanic cinder, sourced from the Oregon Cascade range, is the exfoliant. Not sand, not oatmeal, not ground walnut shell. Volcanic cinder. The texture is unlike anything else in the case and the story behind it is the same.
The scent is cedar and peppermint. Cedar is dry and resinous, the smell of old growth in still air. The peppermint is present and cool. If you run hot in the shower and want something that cuts through the steam, this is the bar. The Oregon peppermint is Willamette Valley sourced, which is worth knowing. The region produces some of the highest-menthol peppermint in the world.
The cinder exfoliates with a texture customers describe as unlike any bar they have used. It rinses clean and leaves nothing behind.
