The word lavender comes from the Latin lavare. To wash. Romans scented their baths with it. Two thousand years of people reaching for the same plant every time they want to feel clean.
The essential oil in this bar is organic, distilled from the flowering tops of Lavandula angustifolia, and sourced from the same Willamette Valley the bar is made in. The dried lavender blossoms mixed into the bar are visible and real. They add light exfoliation and release more scent as the bar lathers.
