Peppermint is one of the oldest cultivated aromatics in the world. A hybrid of watermint and spearmint that turned up in a field in England in the 1750s and turned out to be the best of both. Today Oregon's Willamette Valley produces some of the highest-menthol peppermint grown anywhere in the world. That is the oil in this bar.
The scent is cool, sharp, and immediate. Steam amplifies it.
