Great shampoo bar! Long lasting bar that lathers easily and leaves your hair clean and soft. The pine scent is just right as to not overpower. I've been using this product for several years and I have not found a better shampoo bar.

great scent, the pine tar shampoo bar lathers good and I can comb through my hair after washing without needing a conditioner however my hair feels dry and straw-like without an extra conditioner. I find this shampoo bar works best for me if I rotate it with an shampoo/conditioner combo every other.

Over the past 3 years I have been recuperating from a stroke and being hospitalized and in a nursing facility I developed very dry scalp with uncomfortable itching.I tried several dry scalp shampoos but nothing worked but then I remembered my grandparents used nothing but pine tar soap for everything, bathing, shampoo et. Al. So I thought to search for the soap on line and found Slab the soap is just as I remembered When wet,it lathers up quickly and abundantly Every time I use it, there is less itching And the smell brings back childhood memories, and I’m 75 years old Also thanks for the sample of your orange spice soap wonderful fragrance!

I’ve never used bar shampoo before so I was a little hesitant, but SO HaPpY I gave it a chance!!! The smell is great, not heavy at all and quite pleasant, and it lathers up really well! I have been working to decrease my plastic use. I had heard about bar shampoo from several people, but had been reluctant to try it. I started using Slab’s Pine Tar Shampoo bar about a year ago, and will never go back to bottle shampoo. I love the way it makes my hair look and it is plastic free. My son came to visit a few weeks ago and he took home one of my bars. I think you have another convert. A great product!

Oops! I reviewed one of the other bars I bought that I thought (from the picture) was the shampoo bar. I tried to go back to retrieve that review and could not... I love the shampoo bar! It lathers well in the hard water I live with and has left my hair lively, "springy," and curlier that "commercial" shampoos even between shampoos. I do not use a conditioner because my scalp does not like them. With this bar, I don't have to. My hair does not tangle as with commercial shampoos. I plan to order 3 of these bars in my next order.

Wonderful shampoo bar. I've been using it for a year and my hair stays clean and soft. Good-bye plastic bottles! (When switching from bottled shampoo, it's good to use a vinegar rinse for awhile till all the chemicals residue is gone from your hair.)

I have tried so many shampoos over the years only to have formulas change after finding one I could tolerate. The Slab Pine Tar shampoo is hands down the best ever. No residue that refuses to rinse off, doesn’t dry my scalp out, my haircut is a flat-top so my hair doesn’t really care how soft it is but my youngest Granddaughter loves how soft my hair feels

So Clean! I absolutely LOVE this shampoo bar! I've been using it for a while now, and every time I forgot to buy more and started using shampoo-in-a-bottle... I regret it. This gets you, literally, squeky clean. I had to get used to that, but it was easy to do, especially when it makes my hair so shiny and smooth. Lathers Well I live in an area with hard water so maybe that's the problem. It smells wonderful and lathers well but I can't get it to rinse out completely. My hair feels coated. I am open to suggestions if anyone knows how to rinse it out

Awesome! I love this shampoo bar. I need to avoid the parabens, phthalates, and other nasty preservative in regular shampoo as they affect the hormones in my blood. It lathers and rinses nicely and fragrance is mild. It lasts a long time and is very convenient, especially for travel. It's good for you and the environment, too.

Love this I really like using shampoo without a lot of chemicals, plus this is great for traveling with just carry on luggage cuz it's not a liquid!
